In the year 1898, on the 31st of May at two o'clock in the evening, before us, Marie Lefevre, first deputy delegate to the civil registry, appeared Alexandre Lapaix, carpenter, aged 47 years, and Pierre Théault, painter of buildings, aged 27 years, who inform us of the death of THOMAS TIBOT, carpenter, aged 74 years, widower of MARY ANN COLLINS. He was born at Placentia, Newfoundland on April 14, 1824, son of WILLIAM TIBOT and MARY HYQUEY (HICKEY). He died at the home of Martin Darburne this morning at seven o'clock.

Martin married Ellen Collins.
