There is also a Robert Straw, 22, married to Sarah Ann Garrison [16] with 3 year old Mary. Robert & Sarah married Apr 05, 1860, so I don't think that little Mary is their child. After this, this family disappears from the census.

These men - William, Robert & Elijah fit in the age brackets for the children of John Straw of the 1840 census.
Perhaps Cintipha Jane Straw is one of John's dtrs? Catherine Straw Tunis c/b the other one?
