(per Sue Phaneuf)"In 1840, a John Straw was there with his wife, 3 sons [b. ~1825, 1830, 1835] and 2 dtrs.
Elijah Straw was in Green Camp, OH in 1850.
In 1860, there is a William Strew, 31, married to an Elvina [ Melvina Lefever], with children Hermen [9], John [6] and Mary [5].
There is also a Robert Strew, 22, married to Sarah Ann Garrison [16]
These men - William, Robert & Elijah fit in the age brackets for the children of John Straw of the 1840 census."
I believe Cintipha Jane is one of the two daughters.
