Jesse Straw of this city and Miss Cora Stewart of El Dorado were married by Probate Judge Hunt. Wednesday Sept 17th they came to Towanda immediately going to housekeeping on North 4th St where the groom had a house already furnished. Here's congratulations Jesse."
and "Funeral services for Jesse Albert Straw. pioneer resident of Towanda, will be held at the Towanda Cemetery Friday afternoon at 2:30. Mr. Straw was a brother to Mrs Clara Lindsey and Mrs Sarah Stewart."
