Isaiah STRAW, born about 1810 in New Hampshire, parents unknown. He married 5 Dec 1835 in New York or Michigan to Mary A. HOWELL (born 1820), daughter of James Brown HOWELL & Sarah J. "Sally" STAGE. Isaiah and Mary (HOWELL) STRAW lived in Hillsdale Co., MI and had known issue: Mary, Liberty N. (male), Walter, and Harriet.

Isaiah Straw is a probable s/o Charles based on the following:
1. He was born in 1810 NY or NH [Charles was said to have "gone west"]
2. His date of birth and places of dwelling fit the profile
3. He named a son Liberty N [after his brother?]
I will attach him to these parents unless it can be proved otherwise.

Levi and Meriam (Jones) Straw had a son who purchased land in Michigan in the same place and in the same year as Isaiah did.
