She was a possible d/o Richard Jacob and Wealthy (LNU) Straw or Robert C. and Mary J Mullett Straw. Members of both of these two families were in residence in 1840 in Hancock County, Maine. In the 1840 census the Richard Jacob Straw HH had no female matching Abby's age. The female in Robert's HH matches for his daughter Caroline who did not marry until after 1860.
Abby's POM [Penobscot] is between Castine and Ellsworth but closer to Castine.

Abby married Josiah Chandler, son of Deacon Alden Chandler and Priscilla Cushman, on 7 Nov 1850 in Penobscot, Hancock County, Maine. (Josiah Chandler was born on 21 Aug 1812 in Poland, ME and died on 14 Feb 1892 in Dexter, Penobscot County, Maine.)
