Never married. His mother Ruth passed away when Floyd was only 10 weeks old and from that time. he was reared by his grandparents, Enoch Harry Straw and Hattie and an aunt and uncle in MO and Chester, SD. Floyd lived and worked various places and for the last (?) years, has been working in Sioux Falls for a roofing company. Floyd was a sgt U S Army, WWII. He drank a lye solution and died.
