November 14, 2001, husband of the late Nancy (Lockwood) White; dear father of George E. (Jeanne Suski) White; stepfather of Clare (Eileen) Straw, Ann (Louis) Pierce, Betsy (Robert) Brooks and Robert (Margaret) Seymour; grandfather of Michael, Scott, Jodie and Steven White, Robert and Louise Pierce, Adam and Allison Brooks. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the VANDERCHER & DICK FUNERAL HOME, 2549 Main St. Funeral services Saturday at 11 AM in St. Johns-Grace Episcopal Church, 51 Colonial Circle. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. White was a member of American Legion Post #1322.
