Viola May Albert, 83, died at 6:06 a.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born July 14, 1925 in Upper Sandusky to Harry M. and Stella Mae (Maliffsky) Thompson. She married Robert C. Albert on April 9, 1944 in Kenton, and he died Dec. 30, 1996.
Surviving are two sons, Robert F. (Joy) Albert of Pickerington and Ronald W. Albert of Findlay; a daughter, Barbara (Gene) Kimmel of Findlay; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harry M. (Jill) Thompson Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Dwight, Lloyd, Wayne, Charles and Frank; and a sister, Gail Thompson.
She was a homemaker and was affiliated with Marseilles United Methodist Church.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
