"My great grandfather, Judson Bennett, son of Royal Zeb and "Elviry" was born in 1858 in Horicon/Brant Lake NY. He died in Glens Falls or Hudson Falls in 1924. He is buried in St. Paul's Cemetery in Hudson Falls. Unfortunately, I found no headstone and the cemetery has no record of the plot number. He married Matilda Daha who is, they tell me, also buried in St. Paul's. I was unable to find her headstone either. Their son, my grandfather, was William Clayton Bennett, born Horicon/Brant Lake 1888 and died in Glens Falls in 1964. He was married to Ada Smith, daughter of Julia Lord Smith. Julia died of the great flu pandemic of 1918 and is buried with her parents and a couple of siblings in the family plot in Glens Falls Cemetery on Bay Road. William C (Clayt and Ada) were married in Hudson Falls in 1910. My mother, the eldest of 5, was born there in 1911. She died in Schenectady in 1992 from too much smoking. Interestingly, I have one last living uncle, son of Clayt and Ada who still lives in Hudson Falls. " (research of T. Williams)
