Otto Monson, early resident of Bode, Iowa died at his home in Redfield, S.D., Monday, March 1 (1965). He was the oldest son of a family of ten children of Mr. and Mrs. M.O. Monson. He is survived by his wife, Sadie, one brother, Art; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Rolland of Osage, Iowa and Thelma, Mrs. John Yung of Lake Orion, Michigan. The funeral was Friday and John Saxton of Fort Dodge flew his plane accompanied by Mrs. Don Pieper, Art Monson and Ada Rolland. Mrs. Saxton and Mrs. Pieper are nephew and niece of the deceased. Otto Monson was very muscial and for many years was a piano tuner.
