At the time of his 2nd marriage he is listed as a res of Franklin, NH ae 45; a trader.
In the Civil War he enlisted at Plymouth on 13 Nov 1861; discharged, disability at Concord, Nov 25 1862. He lived in Plymouth until after the sevice in the Army, when he removed to Franklin, Merrimack, NH.
