Lawrence 'Larry' Augustine Connors, 88 years, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 25, 1930 to Patrick and Agnes (Molloy) Connors of Pouch Cove. In 1955 he married Elizabeth 'Lizzie' McGrath of Patrick's Cove, Placentia Bay. Larry worked with Household Movers and Shippers for 10 years and with the Janeway Children's Hospital for 26 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving and wonderful sister Stella O'Toole (Will) and his brothers Jerome, Bernard (Helen), Augustus 'Gus' (Mary), and Patrick 'Paddy' (Theresa). He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Lizzie, his two daughters Agnes Auchinleck and Virginia Connors and three sons Gabriel (Wanda), Darren (Tina) and Larry (Heather), his seven grandchildren Corinne (Ron Powers) and Lynn Anne (their father Bob Auchinleck), Paul (Tanya), Cheryl (Woody), Patrick, Victoria and Brandon, and six great-grandchildren Summer, Claire, Emma, Alexander, Liam and Ethan. Also leaving to mourn are sisters-in-law Marie McGrath (Bernard, deceased) and Gladys Richards (Greg); many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends, especially his special buddies Jim Moran (Sharon) and Steve Gillett (Mona), whom he cherished as his own. The family wish to acknowledge the staff of St. Patrick's Mercy Home and thank them for their care and compassion over the last five months. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home in Torbay. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6 from 7 - 9 pm and Friday, June 7 from 2 - 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church in Pouch Cove on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery. In his memory, donations may be made to the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, Flatrock

Lawrence married Elizabeth McGrath. (Elizabeth McGrath was born on 17 Dec 1933 in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, died on 2 Jun 2020 in Health Sciences Center - St. John's, Newfoundland and was buried in St. Agnes Cemetery - Pouch Cove, Newfoundland.)
