Wailda "Billie" Anderson Conrad
A memorial liturgy for Wilda "Billie" Conrad of Coos Bay, Oregon, was held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at St. Monica Catholic Church, 357 South Sixth Street, Coos Bay, Oregon The Reverend Will Mike Walker officiated the Memorial Mass. Interment was at Ocean View Memory Gardens.
Billie was born on January 10, 1927 in McCracken, Kansas, to Greg an Emma (Murphy) Anderson. She died July 12, 2002, in Coos Bay. She married Adam Conrad Jr. on April 2, 1945, in McCracken and they made their home in Coos Bay for the past 57 years.
Billie as very family oriented and enjoyed Saturday night card games, crossword and picture puzzles and bingo.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, sons Dennis Conrad, Coos Bay; Tom Conrad, Brooking; daughters, Carol Caughlin, San Diego; Terry Price, Coos Bay; sister Loa Straw, San Antonio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
