  General Notes:

Irving Abram Way, aged 94, of Argyle, formerly of Peru and Keeseville, died in Glens Falls Hospital, Saturday, December 31, 1967, after a short illness.
He was born October 9, 1873 in Peru, eldest son of the late, Samuel Watson and Rachel Thompson Way. His early life was spent in Peru and Keeseville.. . . . . Mr. Way was united in marriage with Mary Jane Clark, daughter of the late William and Sarah Ann Bateman Clark of England and Montreal, Canada.
Of this union, 3 sons, Lester of Glens Falls, S. Earl and William of Keeseville and 3 daughters, Mrs. Milton (Rachel) Mussen of Keeseville, Mrs. Raymond (Grace) Palmer and Mrs. Leon (ThurZa) MdKinney of Menlo Park, Calif. survive;
a son, Kenneth of Hudson Falls; 4 daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Josephine) Brockway of Thompson; Mrs. Edward (Shirley) Brockway of Fort Edward; Mrs. Wayne (Beatrice) Burnham and Mrs. Albert (Donna Lee) Skellie, both of Argyle, all of these of a later union with his 2nd wife, the late Mary Duggan.
Two step sons Bernard Duggan of Fort Miller and Daniel Duggan of Thompson and a step daughter, Mrs. John (Grace) Solloscy with whom he made his home; 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. also survive
. . . . Three sons Francis, Warren and Junius, and a step daughter, Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Waite preceded him in death.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m, Thursday, January 5, at the M. B. Kilmer Funeral Home In Argyle. The Rev. Donald B. Hillyard, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fort Edward at Durkeetown, where Mr. Way was a beloved and respected member of the Baraca Sunday School class, officiated..
