Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness Joyce Andrews .. Nee Tucker. Her early career of nursing brought her from her East Coast home of Elliston to the West Coast early in the 1950's where she worked at the Cottage Hospital in Stephenville Crossing. This was followed by her love of fine things which brought her to Alteen's Jewelry. Left with fond memories of a wonderful mother Barry (Darlynn) Nancy ,Jim ( Sharon). Also her beloved grandchildren Tammy, Nanci, Ben, Erin, Mark and Nolan,her great grandchildren Tarron, Madison and Aaron, her extended family ,sisters Nina Durdle, Colinette (Dave Hiscock) brothers-in-law Mac Andrews (Ethel) , Rex Andrews, Ed Andrews(Paulette) sisters-in-law Marion (Wes Osmond),Jean(Cator) Best, Mildred(Bill Brett) , Myrtle, Bonnie (Clar Warford),Dianne (John) Cooper Awaiting her arrival home her husband Jim Andrews (2010) and her son Kevin in (2018) May she be remembered as a very loving person with a passion for cooking who loved her three sons. Visitation will take place at Russell's Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9, the funeral will take place on Friday May 11th at 2 P.M. from First United Church with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway.

Joyce married James Andrews, son of Andrews and Unknown. (James Andrews was born in 1932 and died on 28 May 2010 in Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital - Stephenville, Newfoundland.)
