Passed away on January 14, 2008 at CWJ Memorial Hospital in Labrador City in the presence of all her children and her sister, Susan T. Gaulton (nee: Jones) at the age of 69 years. She is survived by five daughters: Florence, Josephine, Cathy, Cecilia and Valerie; three sons: John, Abbie, and "Danny" and their families. Also survived by sister Cecilia; brothers: Tom, Leo and their families as well as countless relatives, friends and acquaintances. She was predeceased by her husband John, infant children Catherine and John and daughters Mary and Julia. Visitation took place at Penny's Funeral Home, Labrador City on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue from St. Vincent de Paul Church, Point au Mal on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Point au Mal. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Daffodil Place, St. John's, NL. Susan married John Albert Gaulton, son of Albert J. Gaulton and Florence B. Dober. (John Albert Gaulton was born on 15 May 1934 in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, died on 20 Apr 1971 in Point Au Mal, Newfoundland and was buried in St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery - Point au Mal, Newfoundland.)
