It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Maxwell Quehe announces his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, August 4th, 2006 at the age of 76 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 50 years Mary; children: Daphne (Haeman) Rambaran of Calgary, AB, Marvin (Theresa) Quehe of Calgary; grandchildren: Shawn and Lindsay; sisters: Eva (Leo) St. Don of Ontario, Ruth (Malcolm) Spracklin of Paradise, NL, Hazel (William) Dillon of Ottawa, ON; brothers: George (Ada) Of Ottawa, ON, David (June) Quehe of Ontario, William "Billy" (Linda) Quehe of Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Mildred, Sandra, and Alma; brother-in-law Jack Vincent. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Elizabeth; children: Dale and Roy; sisters: Lillian Baker, Loretta Vincent; brothers: Clifford, Alfred, Rudolph. Visitation will be held at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Monday, August 7th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at 2 pm Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Elizabeth St., with Pastor Calvin Andrews officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. John married Mary Evelyn Grace Chaulk, daughter of Richard Chaulk and Emily Oldford. (Mary Evelyn Grace Chaulk was born on 19 Mar 1928 and died on 8 Jan 2010 in Interfaith Home for Senior Citizens - Corner Brook, Newfoundland.)
