Michael John Caul
February 8, 1964 - December 17, 2022
It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Michael John Caul announce his passing on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his home in Point au Mal with the love of his life, Roxane Mercer, by his side. Michael was 58 years of age.
In his own words, he was a true dinosaur and fought long and hard to stay with us for as long as he could. Michael loved his family and his quick wit and off the charts humour was enjoyed by his extensive network of close family and friends. He was a loyal friend and he especially never wavered in his love and devotion for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Michael had a heart of gold and to those who knew him, his generosity knew no bounds.
Michael leaves to mourn with loving and precious memories: his partner Roxane; his son TJ (Krystle); daughter Ashley ; his granddaughters: the lights of his life, Kinsley and Avaleigh; his sisters: Jane (Don), Maureen (Paul), Charlotte (Paul), and Sharon; and brother Phillip; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends; and furry babies Rocki and Olive. Michael was predeceased by his parents Phillip and Rosella (Pomeroy) Caul.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in Point au Mal during the summer of 2023.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Dr. Alan McComiskey, Dr. Sheila Dwyer, his nurse Maria, and Glenda for the kind care they gave him. We would like to thank Billie Jo Leroy, his homecare worker, with whom he developed a close friendship, for her loyalty dedication and care. We would also like to thank his nearest and dearest friends for their love and care, Charlie, Kitch and Stella.
