It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley Marche of Aguathuna announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Saturday, September 18, 1999 at the age of 86 years. He will be sadly missed by his son, Donald (Bonnie) in Felix Cove and three daughters: Theresa (Jim) Ballard in Aguathuna, Mary (Anthony) Hynes in Port au Port East, Valerie Parsons in Exeter, Ontario and two brothers: Cecil (Priscilla) in Stephenville, Walter (Bernice) in Nova Scotia and four sisters: Mary Joe Croucher and Isabel Whyatt, both in Halifax, Jean Coffey in Antigonish, Theresa Vanderberry in the United States and 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Hannah in 1986. Friends may call at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port au Port West on Monday. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 21st at 10:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port au Port West with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell's Funeral Home, 39 Queen Street in Stephenville.

Stanley married Hannah. (Hannah died in 1986.)
