BALLARD, Edward Leo - 58, Dartmouth, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away suddenly at home on April 20, 2003. Born October 1, 1944, in Stephenville, NL, Edward is survived by his wife, Jessie (Felix); sons, Pernell, Keith, Darren, Craig, Ryan; daughter, Gwen; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Francis and Jim; sisters, Marina, Rose, and Marie. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Alice and Leo Ballard; sisters, Cathy and Josephine, and by Pat, Diane, Betty and Winnie. Funeral mass 10 a.m. today in Pope John XXIII Church, Father Patrick Cosgrove officiating. Interment to follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
