CARROLL, Michael - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Lions Manor, Placentia, on Saturday, July 28th, 1990, age 79. Leaving to mourn: his devoted wife Mary, his Daughter Margaret and husband Greg Comeau; his sons: William and wife Florence, Michael Jr. and wife Glenda, Andrew and wife Lucy, Brian and wife Ann Marie, and Wayne; also three brothers John at Stephenville, Patrick at Fox Harbour, Cyril at St. John's; three sisters: Mary Frances Walsh at Pasadena, Julia Best at Southern Harbour, Elizabeth (Betty) Spurvey at Fox Harbour (predeceased) by Carmel Sampson at St. John's); also 11 grandchildren: Frank, Rhonda, Tracey, Paul, Kristin, Jo-anne, Michelle, Danielle, Allison, Michael and Andrew; as well as his leaves to mourn a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 30 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Placentia. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia. Michael married Mary Rose, daughter of Andrew Rose and Jane Ann. (Mary Rose was born in 1908 in Placentia, Newfoundland, died on 21 Nov 1992 in St. Clare's Mercy Hospital - St. John's, Newfoundland and was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia, Newfoundland.)
