April 25, 1956 - November 10, 2011. When the angels came calling, he swiftly jumped into their arms to join his parents: Kathleen and Fred; his brothers: Fred, Harry, baby Joseph and baby sister Catherine. Left to mourn his fiancée, Bernie (Fort McMurray); his sons: Joseph, Christopher, stepson Kevin (ON); his brothers: Vince (Alice), Bob, Gerard (Eileen); his sisters: Beth Ann (Ray Wade), Patsy (Mike Tremblett), Barb, Joan (John Downey), Bernadette (Cyril); his sister-in-law, Mary Roberts; friend, Betty; many nieces and nephews who loved their "Uncle Buck" dearly; also, a large circle of friends and relatives in Alberta, Nfld. and Ontario. At Eugene's request cremation has taken place. Services will be held in Colinet at a time to be announced. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Eugene married Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Brewer, daughter of John Thomas "Johnny" Brewer and Melinda Aloysius Sweeney. (Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Brewer was born on 11 Sep 1960 in North Harbour, St. Mary's Bay, Newfoundland and died on 9 Oct 2016 in Fort McMurray, Bighorn, Alberta, Canada.)
