ENNIS, Captain William - Passed peacefully away at home, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, June 22nd, 1995, Captain Bill Ennis, formerly of Merasheen islands, aged 52 years. Predeceased by his parents, Stan and Elizabeth Ennis; and brother-in-law George Sainsbury. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Helen; son Stephen; daughters: Krista and Susan; parents-in-law: Douglas and Elizabeth White of Dunville; five brothers: Richard (Annie), Andy (Evelyn), Jim (Loretta), Phil (Claire) and Jerome (Helen); six sisters: Sheila (Adrian) Hanlon, Flo Sainsbury, Beth (William) Houlihan, Bride (Patrick) MacLennon, Lucy (Rod) Williams and Anita (Jerome) Keefe; six brothers-in-law: Bruce (Peggy) White, Eugene (Betty) White, Ken White, Douglas (Darlene) White, David (Maureen) White and Paul (Marlene) White; two sisters-in-law: Rose (Freeman) Barron and Shirley (George) Rimiller; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, cousins and special aunt Bride Price (Boston); as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation will begin on Friday, June 23rd, at 12 noon - 10:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 26th, at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church.
