Travis Justin Hepner, 28, of Aurora, died suddenly Thursday, July 31, 2008 at his home. He was born July 7, 1980 in Aurora, the son of Donald and Judith (Fetzer) Hepner. Travis enjoyed being a hair colorist. He took great pride in all the work he did for his clients. When he wasn't working he was devoted to babysitting his niece, Brianna "Bri" Hepner and nephew, Troy Alan "Cooter" Hepner, Jr. He also enjoyed babysitting Destiny, Austin and many other children for family and friends. Travis also enjoyed baking, sewing, landscaping and creating a pond for his parents. Travis is survived by his parents, Donald and Judith (Fetzer) Hepner; grandparents, Earl and Mary Hepner of Aurora, IL, Editha Fetzer of Somonauk, IL, and Della May Spitser of Rochelle, IL; two brothers, Troy (Catherine) Hepner of Oswego, IL and Timothy (Holly) Hepner of Aurora, IL; a very special niece and nephew, Brianna E. Hepner and Troy Alan Hepner, Jr.; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Fetzer and Nasby Spitser; and three uncles, Thomas Durham, Ronald Straw, and Darrel Spitser. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 11 AM at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2008 from 4-8 PM at our Aurora Chapel.
