MARYVILLE, Mo. - Emilee Keever, 92, Maryville, died Saturday, August 2, 2014, at
Nodaway Nursing Home, Maryville.
Emilee was born December 14, 1921, in Parnell, Mo., to Robert and Sarah Anna (Griffey) Lockhart.
A graduate of Pickering, Mo. High School, she retired as a Switchboard Operator for United Telephone.
She married Shelby Douglas Keever June 15, 1948, in Maryville and was a member of the Parnell United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shelby Douglas Keever Sr. (October 11, 2011); daughter-in-law, Carol Keever; brother, Ralph Bosley; sisters, Verna Meek, Dorothy Morgan and Eileen Gladfelder.
Surviving Emilee are her sons, Shelby Douglas (Teresa) Keever Jr., Maryville; and Kirby (Brenda) Keever, Burlington Junction, Mo.; grandchildren, T.J. (Vanessa) Keever, Burlington Junction; and Ashley (Aaron) Brown, Maryville; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Alexzander Keever and Jessep Brown; and sister, Betty Daniels, Maryville.
Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014, at Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
