There is a headstone in Pine Grove Cemetery in Thornton, New Hampshire with the following names: John Elliot 1848 - 1920; George W. Elliot 1972-1891 and Hannah G. P. Marsh 1820-1890. John Elliot married Hannah's daughter Laura and divorced from her. George W. Elliot was the son of Laura J. Marsh Elliot and John Elliot. Laura J. Marsh was Hannah's daughter by Wm Straw [unknown if they married] as Hannah calls herself Hannah Marsh in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census (these census do not give marital status) In 1880 she is living with daughter Laura and listed as single. I am unable to determine if Hannah Marsh is buried here with her SIL and grandson. (Her name and status of marriage are incorrectly entered and FAG notified of this)

Hannah married William H. Straw, son of Dudley Straw and Mary Avery. (William H. Straw was born in 1827 in Campton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, died on 16 Nov 1871 and was buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery - Plymouth, New Hampshire.)
