CODY Wyo. - Mrs. Martha
Marston Newton, M, of Cody
died Saturday at a nursing home
in Cheyenne where she had been
a resident since October.
She was born Nov. 22,1685, in
Gorham, Me., to George and
Hattie Marston. She came to the
Cody area in 1900. She was preceeded
in death by three husbands,
Alex H. Liddiard, Thomas
J. Kame, and Earl E. Newton.
She was a member of the
Presbyterian church 'And the
Pioneers of the Cody Coutry.
She is survived by a sister,
Florence Marston, of Maine; a
brother Burton Marston of Laramie,
Wyo.; and by these stepchildren:
Mrs. Ester Russell,
Mrs. Genevieve Straw and Jed
Newton, all of Cody, Don Newton
of Meeteetse and Harold and
Clarence Newton ol Sheridan.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian
Church in Cody with
the Rev. R. N. Buswell officiating.
Burial will be in Cody. Ballard
Funeral home is in charge
of arrangements.

Martha married Earl Ernest Newton. (Earl Ernest Newton was born in 1877 in Illinois.)
