Raymond C. Edwards, 81, of Keeline died July 9, 2005, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.
He was born April 9, 1924, in Douglas to Con and Blanch Jones Edwards. He was an Army veteran of World War II. In 1949 he married Lorna Yocom in Omaha, Neb. Mr. Edwards lived and ranched in Niobrara County most of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, children Monte of Keeline, Russell (Ramona) of Cody and Denise (Ron) Johnson of Douglas, granddaughters Lacie Epps of Spirit Lake, Idaho, Samantha Johnson of Casper and Jessie Edwards of Cody, five great-granddaughters in Spirit Lake, and sisters Ella Robinson and Marie Straw of Douglas, Pauline Parke of Lincoln, Neb., and Darlene Schrader of David City, Neb.
A graveside memorial service was July 23 at Jireh Cemetery east of Keeline.
