Sharon K. Straw died Tuesday, November 29, 2022 after a fall at home.
Sharon was born in Goshen and attended Goshen High School and was a member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren.
She had lived in Brownsville, Texas and Lakeland, Florida and was married to Ronald Goheen, Nappanee and Bob Ellard, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen (Pollock) Straw and stepmother, Elsie Straw and two young brothers, Roger and Ronald Straw.
She is survived by a son, Roger and a daughter, Kandi (Damon) Fields, two granddaughters, Mindy Fields and Heather (Jeremy) Johnson and five great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Lily, Chloe, Isaac and Elijah. She is also survived by her siblings, Marilyn Keck, New Paris, Doris McFarren, Elkhart, Duane Straw, Indianapolis, Phillip Straw and Gerald Straw, Goshen, Lowell Straw, West Lafayette and her companion, Charles Wellen, Lakeland, Florida.
Sharon worked at various jobs, owned a pet grooming business and loved plants, gardening and a variety of pets.
She was cremated in Florida.
