research for consideration: Deed on June 22, 1795 Hillsborough County Records read as follows: (vol. 40, p. 404) We, Obediah Hadley of Fisherfield. in the County of Hillsborough, yeoman, and Abel Hadley, Simeon Hadley, and Moses Hadley all of Canaan, NH in the County of Grafton yeoman, confirm unto his the said Samuel Hadley the whole of our part of land left us by our honored father, Amos Hadley late of Dunbarton, deceased, (Excepting our mother's third). This deed was witnessed by Abel Hadley, Levi Bailey, Sarah Webster and Lois Straw. The Abel that witnessed it was perhaps the Uncle Abel. Lois Straw was his daughter.
Lois married Elder Thomas Davis, son of Unknown and Unknown, before 1791. (Elder Thomas Davis was born circa 1752 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts and died on 18 Aug 1834 in Acworth, Sullivan County, New Hampshire.)
