DAGGETT-Oliver Straw, 82, Daggett, died Monday at Menominee County Lloyd Hospital.
A native of Jefferson, he was born Aug.8, 1896. He married the former Merle Hittman April 7, 1920.
During World War 1, he served with the American Red Cross in France. Mr. Straw was a member of the Daggett Lions Club. For 50 years he was the foreman at the Allis-Chalmers Corp. in West Allis.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Thomas of New Berlin, Robert of West Allis; a daughter, Mrs. Tim Morth of Los Angeles, Calif; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sorenson Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Services will be held there at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Joseph Felix will officiate. Burial will be in the Stephenson Township Cemetery.
